Artist Point Panorama

Yesterday will likely be my last trip through Yellowstone before most of the roads are closed. I hope to do a winter trip through the northern part of the park sometime in January. The park is not crowded at all right now. There are elk along the Madison River, bison galore in the Lamar Valley, and a few in the Hayden Valley.

When I parked at Artist Point, I was completely alone. Someone briefly stopped by while I was shooting, but it’s sort of special to have a view like this all to yourself.
